Performance Systems helps home and business owners establish and
maintain environmentally responsible, high performance buildings and
energy systems that are healthy, comfortable, durable, and energy efficient.
Performance Systems provides a wide range of installation services to
single family residential, multifamily, and commercial buildings.

Performance Systems performs a whole building systems inspection before
we make an installation proposal to our customers. This allows us to
understand the interaction of the various  systems in the building. We also
calculate out the energy savings
potential from potential improvements.
After we complete the inspection, we make specific recommendations and
give you a proposal for work that will improve performance in a variety of
ways including energy, comfort, health and safety, and building durability.
If you understand what is and what isn't working about your building, you
can make better decisions about how to improve it. We also use the same
testing techniques to make sure that we have done the work correctly.
This performance testing approach to contracting is supported very
generously by New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)
with a range of incentives for homes and businesses. You can get up to
$5000 dollars towards your installations costs
if you qualify based on income and at least 10% or a
low interest loan if you don't meet the income guidelines. New York
State also supports renewable energy with a range of incentives.

The whole building, performance testing approach to improving facilities
benefits the environment as well as your building, and pocket book. On
average, each house we treat contributes as much to global warming
reduction as 3 full grown trees each year. We also provide environmental benefits
and energy savings from renewable energy
systems.
Company Accreditations and Certifications
Performance Systems is accredited as a building performance
contractor by the Building Performance Institute. PSC has an extensive
commitment to training its staff so they can provide you with a high
quality installation. Our staff have certifications in
renewable energy system installation, as
building performance analyst and specialists, as energy raters, and as code
officials, among others.
Our combined staff of over twenty has a wide range of skills and
training. Our sister company,
Performance Systems Development, is a
consulting company that trains contractors and provides software support
for contractors and energy efficiency programs across the United States.
